When traveling, food is an important factor for me. As young adult, I rarely have money to blow without consequences. I always try to find quality food under $15 per person. These are two of my favorite restaurants that won’t make your wallet cry.
ABC Commissary
After wandering for hours and waiting in the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge line, you will definitely be hungry. The ABC Commissary offers something for everyone at a decent price. The following are several large portioned entrees under $15 that my family and I loved.
| Entree (Served with side) | Price |
| Shrimp Platter | $12.49 |
| Shrimp Teriyaki Bowl | $14.49 |
| Fish and Shrimp Platter | $13.99 |
| Chicken Breast Tender Platter | $9.99 |

ABC Commissary is located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios near the Star Tours ride. After ordering, the cashier will give you a buzzer.
You can grab the table of your choice and a waiter will bring your food to the table. This hidden gem is often skipped over because it blends in with the walls, but the service surely stands out.
Mel’s Drive-In
Located within the Universal Studios park is one of the best burger joints I have ever been to. Mel’s burgers are juicy and the shakes are so sweet and creamy, you’ll fall in love.

The best part is they have several combos under $15 dollars. Each combo includes a burger, side of fries, and a shake. My family and I tried a few of them and it is now our go-to spot whenever we visit Universal.
| Combo | Price |
| Cheeseburger Combo | 14.99 |
| Chicken Finger Combo | 14.99 |
| Grilled Chicken Combo | 14.99 |
Eating in the parks doesn’t require spending big bucks, you just have to know where to go. Give these restaurants a try next time you’re in Universal or Disney and let me know what you think.
Have a breezy trip!
